The Life's a Snap Foundation Participates in the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" June 2004
Westlake, Ohio event raises over $75,000 towards cancer research. The Foundation felt that partnering with this event was a natural extension of its mission, as many of those honored in memoriam were children who died from cancer.

First Annual Life's a Snap Foundation raises $40,000+ June 2004
To aid in their assistance of children with serious or life-threatening illnesses, Life's A Snap Foundation holds it's the First Annual Casino Night. Not only was the night a success because it was enjoyed by all who had attended this Las Vegas Style Texas Hold 'em event, the 400 people who had attended generated over $40,000 for the Foundation and it's cause.

Life's a Snap for Houser January 25, 2004
As a father of one (daughter, Julia) and another on the way (in April), Houser wants to ease the burden placed on parents of sick children. "It's amazing on how being a father puts a whole new spin on this," he said. "You never really understand the love you feel for your children until you have them. What these parents have to endure is amazing. Our hearts go out to them and that's why we try to do whatever we can to help the kids out." Life's a Snap Foundation was founded in 2001 by Westlake native Kevin Houser of the New Orleans Saints and his wife, Kristen. A non-profit organization, affiliated with the National Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC, we have offices in Cleveland, OH and New Orleans, LA to promote the well-being of seriously ill children in our communities.
